Agents
Your agent drives. You keep the keys.
Kamapathy gives coding and research agents a real browser without handing over yours. Each agent works in its own space, and you can see every step it takes.
- A space of its own. Agent spaces have separate cookies and never see your tabs.
- Take over anytime. One click pauses the agent. Let it continue when you're done.
- You sign in, not the agent. It hands the space to you for passwords and codes, and password fields read as hidden in its snapshots.
- Bring any agent. A small Node.js client and a ready-made skill work with Claude Code, Codex and anything else that can run a command.
- Local and switchable. Agents connect over a private channel on your computer. One switch in Settings turns them all off.

Opening Kamapathy for the first time
This preview isn't signed with an Apple or Microsoft certificate yet, so your computer asks you to confirm once. Here's how.
- Open the .dmg and drag Kamapathy into Applications.
- Open Kamapathy. macOS says it can't verify the app. Click Done.
- Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Kamapathy. Confirm with your password.
You only do this once. If macOS says the app is damaged, run this in Terminal and open it again:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Kamapathy.app- Run the setup .exe you downloaded.
- If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
- Choose where to install and finish the setup. Kamapathy adds itself to the Start menu.
The portable version runs without installing. You'll see the same prompt the first time.
- For the AppImage, make it executable and run it:

Good to know
Is Kamapathy free?
Yes. It's open source under the MIT license, and every build is free to download. The code is on GitHub.
Does it come with an AI model?
No. Kamapathy is the browser your agent uses. Install the skill for Claude Code or Codex, or call the Node.js client from any agent that can run a command. There's no subscription and nothing to sign up for.
Can an agent see my own tabs or accounts?
No. Agents only see the spaces they create, and those spaces have their own cookies and storage. When a site needs you to sign in, the agent hands the space to you and waits. You can take over or stop every agent at any time, and turning off agent access in Settings refuses all of them.
Will my sites work?
Kamapathy uses Chromium, the engine behind Chrome and Edge, so pages render and behave the same way. Browser extensions, sync and a password manager aren't part of this preview yet.
Why does my computer warn me when I open it?
The preview builds aren't signed with a paid Apple or Microsoft certificate yet, so macOS and Windows ask you to confirm the first launch. The steps above take a few seconds, and every release lists SHA-256 checksums you can check the download against.
Does Kamapathy collect any data?
No. There's no account, no analytics and no telemetry. Your history, bookmarks and spaces stay on your computer.
